#MTOS The Films Of Pixar

I have thoroughly enjoyed all four times that I have hosted Movie Talk On Sunday and when given the opportunity to do it all again I jumped at the chance … this time I’m bringing a bit of magic into your Sunday night as I start a conversation about the films of Pixar. Pixar began in 1979 as the Graphics Group, part of the computer division of Lucasfilm, it was bought by Apple in 1986 and then again by The Walt Disney Company bought Pixar in 2006 (who then of course bought Lucasfilm bringing it full circle).

Pixar has produced fourteen feature films, beginning with Toy Story in 1995 and the studio has also produced several short films. As of July 2013, its feature films have made over $8.2 billion worldwide, with an average worldwide gross of $596 million per film. The studio has earned 27 Academy Awards, seven Golden Globe Awards, and eleven Grammy Awards, among many other awards and acknowledgments.

If you’re a Disney fanatic (like my good lady wife) then this is the #MTOS you’ve been waiting for and even if you’re not getting a Woody at the prospect I’m sure you’ll have seen a good number of the Pixar films and are sure to have opinions to bring to the Twitter table.

For example my answer for Question #1 would be:

It’s all about having fun and sharing your thoughts with fellow movie lovers like yourself. Also feel free to invite your followers along and post a link to this page so you can all get your answers ready.
